Machupicchu Tour (1 Day Tour)
To visit the world famous Inca city of Machupicchu in one day we depart Cusco or Poroy (a village close to Cusco city) in the early morning to reach the township of Aguas Calientes (meaning 'hot water') after a 4-hour train ride. From here we travel by bus up to the ruins to start a fully guided tour of the Inca city lasting between 2 - 2.5 hours. The guide will take us to visit la Plaza Principal (main plaza), la Torre Circular (the round tower), el Sagrado Reloj Solar (the sacred sun clock), los Cuartos Reales (the real rooms), el Templo de las Tres Ventanas (the Temple of the Three Windows) and los Cementerios (the Cemeteries).

After the guided tour ends we will enjoy free time to further explore this impressive archaeological site. In the afternoon the bus takes us back to Aguas Calientes to board the train returning to Cusco, estimated arrival time approximately 8.30-9.00pm.
In the event that the rail service from Cusco or Poroy is unavailable, we will travel by bus from Cusco to
Ollantaytambo, then take the train to Aguas Calientes, the travel time is approximately 2 hours for this option.
